WHAT DO I DO WHEN I GO TO P.E.?
Go directly to your P.E. locker when the passing bell rings. Take
your P.E. clothes out of your basket. Put the clothes you wore
to school in the large locker next to your basket and lock with
your lock that was on your basket. Change into your P.E. clothes
and gym shoes inside the locker room. You may not use the restroom
stalls to dress in. The clothes you wore to school cannot be worn
to P.E., not even underneath your P.E. clothes. Dirty P.E. clothes
are to be taken home to wash on Friday and clean P.E. clothes
brought on Monday.
After you dress, go to the area where your class is meeting. Stand
in your assigned roll call position. You are to be in roll call
order five minutes after the start of the period and will be considered
tardy if not in roll call order. Tardiness will lower your P.E.
grade.
Your teacher will quickly take roll and begin class. Class might
begin with a warm-up, some stretching, or light jogging followed
by the physical activity unit you are enrolled in.
Ten minutes before the end of the class, your teacher will dismiss
you to go to the locker room. Please walk to the locker room.
Safety is very important. Be considerate of others while coming
to and leaving the locker rooms.
After you change into your clothes, put your P.E. clothes in your
P.E. basket and make sure it is locked by turning the lock dial
several times and pulling down on the lock.
Go outside and wait behind the P.E. line until the passing bell
rings to go to your next class.
