History
King City High School has had a track and field program since 1923.

King City's track and field program has been competitive in our league, winning championships for the boys in 46, 47, 48, 57 ,58 ,60 ,61, 62, 63, 64, 65, 66, 67, 68, 69, 72, 89 and for the girls in74, 75, 76, 77, 80, 81, 82, 83, 84, 85, 86, 88, 89, 90, 91, 92. The program has sent many athletes to section and state finals over the years as well.

Invitational
King City has had one of Californias most prestigious invitationals in the state that attracts some of the finest athletes around; The King City Invitational.
Track and Field
Track and field is a unique sport that measures various skills of the different athletes at King City high school. The athletes are able to demonsrate various forms of athelticism by participating in a wide variety of events.
