Prerequisites: Instructor approval/audition.
MEETS DISTRICT FINE ARTS GRADUATION REQUIREMENT.
MEETS COLLEGE ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS FOR VISUAL AND PERFORMING ARTS.
Students in concert band are encouraged to maintain, extend and build upon the previous body of knowledge gained through successful participation in prior musical experiences.

Prerequisites: Instructor's consent.

MEETS COLLEGE ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS FOR VISUAL AND
PERFORMING ARTS.
Jazz Band is for those students who would like to extend their musical skills and knowledge into the areas of jazz, swing
and rock music. Students will be able to develop their creativity and explore aesthetic values through active participation
in public festivals and adjudicated performances.

Open to all who have an interest in stringed instruments (violin, viola, cello, and bass). Students in the strings class are
encouraged to learn how to play a stringed musical instrument or continue to develop their musical skills.
