Welcome!

Like any department wishing to increase productivity, the KCUSD Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment website and personnel have a mission.....to increase student learning.

We want to provide a rigorous learning experience for every student every day with classroom instruction that is of the highest quality; a professionally developed staff; a coordinated, aligned and articulated K-8 curriculum; and an opportunity for parents to be active participants in the education of their children.

This website is your doorway to numerous resources ranging from K-8 content standards for all areas of instruction to successful teaching principles, and assessment information.

A big part of CIA is to continuously provide feedback based on our progress in meeting both the state and federal accountability requirements. This information can be located in the Data Center, as it contains current test score results and Program Improvement status.

Whether you are a teacher, parent, administrator, student or interested member of the community, I hope you will find this website both simple to use and informative.

Thank you for your continued support of our K-8 instructional program. By working together, we can ensure a quality program for all KCUSD students.
