I am a King City High School graduate and while I no longer live in town, love our community, and the sense of always being able to come home again. My husband Mark, our son Michael, and I often find ourselves here for family celebrations, barbeques, a game of Pedro, or just visiting for mass at St. John’s and dinner at City Café.

We are avid sports fans, cheering on the San Francisco Giants (even when they’re not having a good season), and the 49ers. Each summer we travel to a different baseball park in the country, sometimes following the Giants, sometimes traveling the country. This summer we were able to go to New York where we caught both a Yankees and a Mets came.

While we were in New York, we saw the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, the Empire State Building, Times Square, and a show on Broadway. We also got to be in the Today Show audience where I go to shake hands with Matt Lauer and Curry.

I spend my summers doing my favorite thing – being a mom! This summer we spent a lot of time at the new waterslide park in Paso Robles, reading, and swimming.

The school year I spend doing my second favorite thing – teaching. Teaching is something that makes me feel both happy and proud. I love kids that try their best and know what they are working for. I enjoy teaching reading and literature the most.

My favorite things: CHOCOLATE, my family, reading, swimming, traveling, spending time with friends and family, and of course –

teaching.
