Some things about me are:

1. I grew up in a town half the size of King City (Reedsport, Oregon).

2. Since my last fish committed suicide by jumping out of his bowl I do not have any pets. I am considering buying a cat, however, as soon as I overcome my acute fear of them.

3. I have three siblings: My brother (who is literally a rock scientist in LA), my big sister (who is a social worker), and a little sister who is in high school.

4. My hobbies include: scrapbooking, hiking, and eating breakfast at Ihop.

5. I have the rare talent of coming up with really good names for pets.

6. As a student, I struggled most with spelling.

7. If I could be any Harry Potter character, I would be Luna Lovegood because she has the most fun (and I believe in nargles too).

8. My favorite book is Beloved by Toni Morrison, and my favorite poem is "The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock" by T.S. Eliot.

9. One of my biggest accomplishments was running the LA marathon (26.2 miles) last year.

10. My favorite place is any quiet coffee shop.
